- 5月29日 20:15頃 京都駅に到着。20:29に携帯の通信が途絶える。琵琶湖線（東海道本線）または湖西線で、京都から東方面（大津・滋賀方面）に向かっていた可能性。May 29, ~8:15 pm — arrived at Kyoto Station; phone lost network at 8:29 pm. Likely on the Biwako Line (Tokaido Main Line) or Kosei Line, heading east from Kyoto (toward Otsu/Shiga).
- 最新（6/2 警察） 防犯カメラから、Westonが山科駅で下車したことまで判明。その後、再乗車したかは不明。Latest (Jun 2, police) — CCTV narrowed it to Weston getting off at Yamashina Station. It is unknown whether he later got back on a train.
